Andy is a lifelong gearhead, starting with his first car at 19, a Triumph Spitfire. He taught himself how to repair and maintain the Triumph, as it broke down frequently, being a British sports car. Fast forward 30 years, after a career in the financial industry, Andy heard that the shop he took his old Porsche to was in danger of closing. He worked out a deal to acquire and expand the shop, Midwest Performance Cars, and to retain all of the skilled staff. 5 years on, and MPC now has a second location in Northbrook Illinois in addition to the original downtown Chicago shop on Lake Street. Andy serves on the editorial board of Ratchet & Wrench magazine, on the board of the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago, and is an active PCA member as well as supporter of The 100 Club of Chicago.
Chris is a devoted customer service rep who started in the industry as a part time porter at an Audi dealership. Chris always says “I learned more in my first 6 months writing service than in a year as a dealer lube tech”. Although he will always deny it, Chris is also an accomplished photographer and many of the shots on our website were taken by him!
